SHIPPING POLICY

1. Production Time (Handcrafted to Order)

At Chopine, we do not rely on mass production. Every pair of shoes is handcrafted specifically for you in our Istanbul atelier upon order confirmation.

• Production Time: Please allow 3-5 business days for your shoes to be cut, sewn, and finished before they are ready to ship.

• Total Delivery Time: Production Time + Shipping Transit Time.

2. Shipping Rates & Estimates

We ship globally using premium international couriers (such as DHL, FedEx, or UPS) directly from Istanbul, Turkey.

Note: Delivery times are estimates and start from the date of dispatch, not the date of order.

3. Customs, Duties & Taxes (Important)

All orders are shipped from our international atelier in Turkey.

• Taxes & Duties: Chopine is not responsible for any customs duties, taxes (such as GST/HST/VAT), or carrier brokerage fees applied to your order.

• Customer Responsibility: By placing an order, you acknowledge that you are the "importer of record." Any fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer.

  • For US Customers: Due to recent changes in US customs regulations (regarding de minimis thresholds), your order may be subject to import duties upon arrival. These are not included in the checkout price.

  • For Canadian Customers: Standard CBSA duties and taxes apply to imported goods and are payable by the recipient.

4. Damages & Issues

We insure our packages against loss and damage during transit.

• If your package arrives damaged: Please take photos of the damaged box AND the product immediately. Contact us at info@thechopine.com within 48 hours.
